NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rising Star Economic Development Corporation, has set August 23, 2016 at 6:30 p.m.,104 N Miller, Rising Star, TX as the date, time and place for a public hearing to consider the following:
Approval of the RSEDC granting $3000. to Jo Sledge for expenses for central heat and air.
Approval of the RSEDC loaning $9000. To Robby and Connie Harding of Full Draw Legends with a (3) three-year promissory note and a (3) three percent interest rate. If $6000. is paid the RSEDC will grant the remainder of $3000.
Approval of the RSEDC loan to Randall and Melissa Lain in the amount of $10,000., with a promissory note and (3) three percent interest. Also requiring their inventory be kept at $5000. And RSEDC be furnished a quarterly report every year that they are in business until note is paid in full. RSEDC will grant 1000. Per year.

Persons wishing to address the City Council regarding the above projects are invited to attend the meeting at the above described date, time, and place.
The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this Agenda. City Council may go into Closed Session to discuss matters pertaining to personnel, pending or anticipated litigation, purchase of real estate acceptance of donations, or employment of security devices when such item is posted above, and authorized under Chapter 552 of the Texas Government Code.
